AcuTemp Thermal Systems Holds Open House at New Corporate Headquarters Facility

Dayton, Ohio USA, - AcuTemp Thermal Systems, a manufacturer of high performance insulation and temperature sensitive transport solutions, recently held an open house at its new facility located in Dayton, Ohio, USA.  The event allowed attendees to tour the newly remodeled corporate offices and manufacturing facilities which the company has occupied since early 2007.The company began extensive renovation on the property at 2900 Dryden Road in 2006 to upgrade the nearly 90,000 square-foot complex, which more than doubled the space of the company's previous location.  The newly renovated manufacturing facility houses product-specific work areas for the production of the company's ThermoCor® high performance insulation product and their suite of sophisticated thermal containers used to transport temperature sensitive cargo such as vaccines, blood, pharmaceuticals and other temperature-critical payloads. "We are very pleased with our new location and the additional space it provides for the growth of the company," states Brian Kohr, Vice President of Finance and the Project Director for the relocation.  "The layout of the new facility has already afforded us the ability to improve our manufacturing efficiencies and to prepare for the upcoming release and production of the company‚s new product, the AcuTemp® AX2100L thermal pallet shipper, which will be marketed primarily to the air cargo and pharmaceutical markets."The manufacturing facility also houses the Keith Meyer Engineering Laboratory. The laboratory is named for company co-founder, Keith Meyer, whose humanitarian endeavors prompted the design and development of AcuTemp's earliest portable vaccine carrier.  That same humanitarian spirit remains alive at AcuTemp today as the company continues to develop thermal management systems used for the transport of temperature-sensitive products that enhance or save human life. "We wanted to honor Keith for his vision and many years of service to the company," states Todd DeVore, Director of Product Development and Engineering Services.  "It is only fitting that the Engineering Laboratory in our new facility bears his name." Mr. Meyer was honored by the company in February 2007 when the new Keith Meyer Engineering Laboratory was dedicated.  The laboratory is certified by the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) and is used extensively in AcuTemp product development and in performing thermal testing and validation services for AcuTemp customers. About AcuTemp Thermal SystemsAcuTemp Thermal Systems designs and manufactures reliable thermal management products used to maintain valuable payloads at the right temperature during transit.
