HERNDON, Va. -- The Department of
Justice (DOJ) has awarded BAE Systems a five-year contract to
provide network operation support and engineering services for the
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Enterprise effort. The
contract is valued at more than $38 million, if all options are
exercised.
The award was made under the DOJ
Information Technology Support Services-3 contract - a multiple
award vehicle designed to provide system development life cycle
services to DOJ and other Federal agencies on an indefinite
delivery indefinite quantity /task-order basis.
As prime contractor, BAE Systems will
provide technical resources to support FBI engineering and
implementation efforts covering operational networks to include
servers, email, and router switches. The company will also support
engineering tasks in network fine tuning, enhancement, and design.

to leverage our expertise and core technical strengths to help the
FBI to quickly and efficiently implement new requirements and
maintain a fully operational network architecture."
