Bruker Daltonics Awarded $1.7 Million Subcontract for Its RAID(TM)-M Handheld From the US Army

BILLERICA, Mass. - Bruker Daltonics today announces that prior to the end of 2006, it has received a $1.7 million subcontract award for its RAID(TM)-M handheld chemical agent detectors from the US Army through a Lead Systems Integrator. Bruker Daltonics is expected to deliver most of the systems by the end of 2007. The systems are intended for the National Guard WMD Civil Support Teams' (CST) Analytical Laboratory System (ALS). The RAID-M will provide real-time chemical screening on site for the CST response mission.Mr. Frank Thibodeau, Vice President of Bruker Daltonics NBC Detection Corp., commented: "We are very pleased with our selection for this critical National Guard program.
