Columbia Southern University (CSU) Adds New Degree Offerings

Columbia Southern Univesity (CSU) is pleased to announce four new degree offerings to help you expand your career potential.

The bachelor’s in information systems security offers experience in systems analysis, programming, web development, networking, databases and IT infrastructures. CSU also offers this degree with a concentration in homeland security. This track will focus on providing students with the knowledge of current legal requirements for information and systems security as well as the ability toentify the potential threats/risks/weaknesses in the IT infrastructure.

The fire administration degree with a new concentration in fire investigation provides courses that focus on advanced fire administration, community risk reduction and firefighter safety. This specific concentration provides the academic foundation for technical and scientific skills needed in the development of highly qualified investigators.

The criminal justice administration degree can prepare entry-level and seasoned professionals from diverse backgrounds in the theoretical foundations, knowledge, skills and practices of criminal justice administration inclusive of law enforcement, courts and corrections. The new concentration in arson investigation focuses on technical and scientific skills needed in the development of highly qualified investigators.

Interested applicants may apply for these programs now. Existing students who are interested in these programs may submit a change of program request and the fee will be waived.
