LEXANDRIA, Va. - The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) has selected Previstar to provide its Comprehensive Emergency Management Planner (CEMPlanner) across the state.
This web-based system will equip Commonwealth State, Municipal, Jurisdictional agencies and facility (e.g. Child Care, Personal Care Home) owners with a collaborative and process driven framework, based on Federal and Pennsylvania emergency management standards, to create and update their emergency plans including the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and Facility plans.
This system will allow local jurisdictions to share their plans with PEMA, streamlining the internal review process.
About CEMPlanner CEMPlanner is a collaborative platform bringing planners and stakeholders together facilitating the planning process (based on Federal emergency management standards) to create and maintain standards based plans. The web-based system utilizes MS Word and a standard browser, reducing the need for traveling to meetings, keeping track of emails and planning inefficiencies.

Since its release in 2009, CEMPlanner has been utilized by numerous state and local emergency management and public health organizations across the country including Atlanta-Fulton County, GA, Gwinnett County, GA, Jefferson County, AL, Lexington-Fayette County, KY, and Houston, TX.
