Cross Match also acquired Labcal's SmartProfile single sign on (SSO) business in the transaction. Labcal is a global leader and innovator in providing ruggedized, handheld mobile computing platforms that integrate biometrics, smart card technologies, wireless communications and application software for mobile authentication of persons and documents such as Nationals, e-Passports, benefits provision cards and various employee and workers. Labcal's ruggedized, handheld biometric authentication products feature smart card and public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies necessary for effective and secure mobile and wireless solutions. Labcal also offers an advanced, unique and secure SSO solution featuring its TruBlue(TM) fingerprint and smart card readers.
