Disaster Response & Recovery Equipment, Technology & Service Providers Continue to See DRRE as a Can't Miss Event

NASHVILLE, TN – With less than four weeks before opening day, the 10th annual Disaster Response & Recovery Expo is once again poised to retain its leadership role in the emergency response industry.  Currently the exhibit floor is 95% filled with 92 exhibitors coming from all regions of the United States.

The Disaster Response & Recovery Exposition, co-located with the 2010 Integrated Medical, Public Health, Preparedness and Response Training Summit, is the perfect opportunity for Local, State and Federal public health and emergency preparedness practitioners and policy makers to discover the latest equipment, technologies and services available.

Co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Chesapeake Health Education Program, the Training Summit brings together HHS partners including the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS), the Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps (OCVMRC), the Emergency System for Advance Registration of Volunteer Health Professionals (ESAR-VHP), and the Office of Force Readiness and Deployment (OFRD).

The products and services to be represented at the event continue to mirror the breadth and growing sophistication available to first responders.  A sample of the technology to be seen on the show floor includes: rapid deployment shelters, mass decontamination systems, infection isolation systems, biological detection systems, portable X-Ray units, pandemic flu kits, mass notification systems, water purification units, emergency lighting systems, and patient evacuation platforms.
