This six course certificate is intended for current and potential first responders in law enforcement, the military, fire and rescue services and other occupations that deal with terrorism and set up counterterrorism measures. Students will study terrorism in a global context, counterterrorism methods and preparing for and responding to catastrophic emergencies.

These six courses are 3 undergraduate credits each. They can be taken towards the Certificate in Global Security, Safety and Terrorism Studies, or can be taken standalone, and in any sequence.
