FoxFury is pleased to announce the new HammerHead LED Forensic Alternate Light Source (ALS) Standard and Premier Kits. The Standard Kit consists of 4 HammerHead ALS’s, 3 goggles and a durable transport case. The Premier Kit includes 4 HammerHead ALS’s, 4 Scout ALS’s, 3 goggles and a durable transport case. Both kits are customizable and allow the user to select the wavelengths (or white light) desired for their specific needs.

ALS’s, available in different wavelengths (from UV to IR), are meant for use in forensics and other specialized applications.

• HammerHead ALS’s use powerful CREE LEDs, are accurate to ±3 nm and run on 3 CR123 batteries. The HammerHead weighs 8.6 oz (245 g), is made of aircraft-grade aluminum and has a recommended operational distance of 10 ft | 3 m. Available wavelengths: 395 nm, 450 nm, 470 nm, 495 nm, 525 nm, 850 nm.
• Scout ALS’s are compact (about the size of a cell phone), accurate to ±3 nm and run on 3 AA batteries. The Scout weighs 5.7 oz (163 g), is made of polycarbonate and has a recommended operational distance of 2 ft | 0.6 m. Available wavelengths: 395 nm, 470 nm, 495 nm, 525 nm, 850 nm.
• Polycarbonate goggles (orange, yellow and red) are included in the transport case, which is watertight, airtight and dust-proof.
