Gwinnett County, GA, Automates Emergency Operations Plan with Previstar's CEMPlanner Software

Alexandria, VA. - Gwinnett County (GA) Office of Emergency Management has selected Previstar’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Planner (CEMPlanner) to help update and automate their county emergency plans.

CEMPlanner™ is a web based emergency planning software service that brings planners together on a collaborative platform and facilitates the planning process (based on FEMA’s Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG-101)) to create and maintain standards based plans. Plans can be accessed online or downloaded into a printable format.

The system provides an affordable way to create plans (e.g. EOP, COOP, Pandemic Flu, Exercise Plans, etc), reduce formatting time, increase stakeholder participation, and eliminate “headaches” caused by document version control and formatting complications. Gwinnett County, GA joins Lexington-Fayette County, KY, Atlanta-Fulton County, GA and nearly 20 other users that have selected CEMPlanner to support their planning programs.

About Previstar Previstar provides a suite of web-based, software products — primarily to the emergency preparedness communities and armed services — for managing the incident lifecycle including planning for, responding to, and recovering from “all-hazards” incidents and events.
