VERONA, NJ – LiveProcess Corporation, the leading provider of healthcare emergency management software, today announced several updates to its platform that improve the ability of hospital users to communicate and coordinate with disaster response and critical care teams.
This new product release helps emergency management professionals more easily manage teams that often include a mix of hospital employees and community members, maintain up-to-date contact information, quickly and efficiently alert team members of events, and deliver real-time situational awareness to the entire response team.
One group of enhancements in this product builds on “contact self-maintenance” functionality first delivered in 2010. This functionality allows hospitals to use LiveProcess to automatically send a request to any or all contacts to verify and update their contact details on a regular basis. These contacts often include people external to the organization, such as suppliers or community responders whose information is maintained in the platform. Hospital emergency management coordinators who currently use this feature report a savings of up to 90 percent in the time it takes to ensure that contact information is current and accurate.
Hospitals can also use this functionality to streamline the addition of new contacts to LiveProcess. Emergency coordinators can add new team members to the system with only name and email information and then use the platform to automatically ask the team member to fill in their additional contact details.
“Hospital emergency managers appreciate the improved efficiency gained when using LiveProcess to manage and coordinate with disaster response and critical care teams,” said Dan Napolitano, VP Product at LiveProcess. “This latest release represents another important step in our aggressive product roadmap to facilitate better communication and coordination while eliminating time-consuming bottlenecks that impair key logistical responsibilities shared by all healthcare team leaders.”
