ILC Dover's Sentinel XL HP PAPR Now Offers Enhanced Waist Belt

ILC Dover, the company that manufactures spacesuits for NASA and the only NIOSH approved Cap 2 CBRN PAPR, is pleased to announce the addition of the Quick-Loc™ belt to their Sentinel XL™ HP PAPR.  This enhancement was made as part of ILC Dover’s continued commitment to listening to the “voice of the customer” and putting that feedback into action. The Quick-Loc™ belt is designed to address customer requests for easy access to the battery and rapid cleaning.  By using a low-friction thermoplastic elastomer waist belt material, it also addresses the need voiced by users for faster donning times.  This design greatly enhances user capability, speed of donning, and cleanability, while offering the superior protection that PAPRs provide. “We work hard in our commitment to our customers, by offering them the best products on the market and continually soliciting their input.  They know what they need to make their jobs easier while ensuring their maximum protection, and we listen and respond to them”, said Tom Grasso, National Sales Manager for PPE.  The Sentinel XL™ is a platform product that allows agencies a wide degree of flexibility to protect against a range of threats.  The CBRN version is the only Cap 2 approved loose fitting PAPR.  Cap 2 refers to the increased protection afforded by the CBRN filter cartridges.  The Sentinel HP offers HEPA protection and iseal for organizations looking to protect their workers from infectious diseases and pandemic flu type of threats.  ILC Dover also manufacturers one of the most widely used NIOSH CBRN approved Air-Purifying Escape Masks in the SCape® CBRN 30 currently utilized by a number of key U.S. Government agencies. About ILC Dover Since 1947, ILC has been active in the design and development of products for both government and industry.  Most ILC products are comprised of softgoods materials –products that are flexible by nature and result in innovative solutions to customer problems.
