Innerwall Launches Real-Time Security and Instant Restoration Software for Mobile Computing Devices
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Innerwall Inc., a leading provider of mobile endpoint security solutions, announced today the General Availability release of Secure Enclave 3.1, which provides a grid of security out to the edge of the network and beyond. Innerwall’s Secure Enclave is the only trust-based security solution providing real-time monitoring, management, alerting, and active quarantine, as well as completing the security lifecycle by instantly returning compromised devices to a prior compliant state. Secure Enclave places protection at the point of entry into the network through its trust-based, Network Admission Control (NAC) authentication solution. This approach provides secure, two-factor authentication in a broad range of applications and industries, as well as a security screen for occasionally connected computers. The software acts as a ‘watchful eye’ to ensure operational integrity and resiliency by creating a security grid across the network. New technology is providing greater access to network assets now more than ever before; laptops, handheld PDAs, cell phones and even home computers are frequently brought into trusted networks, leaving networks exposed. “With more than 80 percent of today’s workforce using mobile devices attached to corporate networks, it is vital to have peer-based trust relationships and real-time risk management solutions in place,” said Frank Ricotta, Innerwall CEO. “Business operations are extending to the furthest reaches of the network, creating new business opportunities while at the same time exposing critical corporate assets to previously unknown risks.” Mobile security issues go beyond the traditional workplace, now reaching the public and private sector. Military communications, border and port security sensors and public utilities are improving upon existing protective measures to ensure threats, internal as well as external, are being restricted. “Innerwall’s security solution has successfully passed the U.S. Army’s intensive phase 1 testing in the Army Information Assurance - Integrated Test and Evaluation Cell,” said Sue Maks, U.S. Army Deputy Director, Information Assurance. “The Secure Enclave software was able to meet and exceed the Army’s stringent requirements and has been recommended for transfer to the Information Assurance Tools Working Group for in-depth technical, security and comparative analysis.” Secure Enclave recently was accepted by Boeing Phantom Works, a division of The Boeing Company, as an approved product and has been added to the Boeing product catalog. Boeing Phantom Works is the advanced research and development unit and a catalyst of innovation for the Boeing enterprise, providing innovative, breakthrough technologies that reduce cycle time and cost while improving the quality and performance of aerospace products and services.Innerwall, Inc.
