According to the report, the U.S. handheld explosives detection market is estimated to total $451.1 million between 2008 and 2013. The report confirms ICx Technologies as the leader in the handheld detection market segment in 2008 due to Army sales of itsFido® XT™, TSA sales of the Fido® PaxPoint™ , and sales of its UGV mounted Fido® OnBoard™.
