Los Angeles Fire Department Uses ADASHI First Response for Event Management at the Academy Awards

Hollywood, CA- On Sunday, February 25, 2007 the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) used ADASHI First Response software to assist in the security of the 79th Annual Academy Awards.  The awards were held at the Kodak Theatre in the Hollywood & Highland Entertainment Complex on Hollywood Boulevard and North Highland Avenue in Los Angeles. The ADASHI First Response software was used for real-time weather acquisition and plume prediction in the event of an emergency.  ADASHI First Response has been certified by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as an Approved Product for Homeland Security and designated as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT).ADASHI First Response includes hazardous agent response guidance, intelligent discovery of potential hazards, and suggested actions for mitigation displayed on a street-level map.  When an emergency occurs, the software can be used to support incident command and control based on the National Incident Management System (NIMS).  The current operational picture can be instantly shared with the local emergency operations center and other vital agencies.
