This coming fall, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will begin to use the Non-Disaster Grants Management System (ND Grants) for all of the Fiscal Year 2010 (FY10) Preparedness grants.
As in past years, FEMA will continue to post the grant solicitation information on Grants.gov. In Grants.gov, you will be able to locate the grant program guidance and instructions on how to register and apply in ND Grants.
These FEMA Preparedness Grants will be the first grant applications available in ND Grants:

Beginning in September 2009, to make this transition as smooth as possible, the ND Grants team will provide both instructor-led training sessions and manuals for applicants. These sessions will provide an overview of the ND Grants System, a hands-on walkthrough of the system’s functionality, and an update on other important FEMA grant program developments. Additional information on training, including specific dates and how to register, will be sent out in the coming weeks. FEMA will continue to reach out to you to provide support materials and other important updates.
If you have any questions regarding ND Grants, please feel free to email us at ndgrants@dhs.gov. If you have questions regarding your specific grant program’s transition to ND Grants, please reach out to the Centralized Scheduling and Information Desk (CSID) at ASKCSID@fema.gov for assistance.
