“The Perceptics UVIS mobile unit iseal for facility access control, secondary or overflow inspection lanes, or where installation of an in-ground UVIS system is not feasible,” said Perceptics President John Dalton.

The system provides a safe, rapid, and thorough method of examining the undercarriage of passenger and commercial vehicles in order to detect devices or modifications of the vehicle undercarriage.

Like the Perceptics in-ground UVIS, the mobile system consists of a high-resolution color line-scan camera in a folded optical design, and uses super bright LED illumination, providing the most detailed color image in the industry.  Once the vehicle completely clears the scanning device, a 4K true-color digital image of the undercarriage is sent to the database and can be viewed by the operator.
