The training portal is among the many initiatives the American Petroleum Institute and the Association of Oil Pipe Lines, together with supporting emergency response organizations, has created to assist first responders to learn the techniques and skills to address a hazardous liquid or natural gas pipeline incident. The National Association of State Fire Marshals “Pipeline Emergencies” Program is provided free-of-charge to all first responders.
