Raytheon Company's JPS Communications has partnered with Votan Research Corporation to globally market a digital in-car video system. The device, known as the DVU-1000, allows incidents to be recorded, transmitted and stored for evidentiary purposes. The digital in-car video system is a rugged, broadcast quality recording system specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of law enforcement and security personnel. The video system will be marketed by JPS Communications, while Votan will maintain responsibility for continued development of the device.
