Roam Secure® Announces Partnership with ESi® Homeland Security Industry Leading Solutions WebEOC® and RSAN Provide End-to-End Emergency Incident Communication System
Arlington, VA – Roam Secure, Inc., the Homeland Security industry leader for text-based emergency communication systems, and ESi the leader for Incident Management Systems announced a partnership to further strengthen integration between the RSAN and WebEOC solutions. Both solutions are already widely deployed and actively used by more than 400 leading cities, counties, states, federal agencies, health organizations and a variety of businesses across the U.S. ESi and Roam Secure have been working together, along with several joint customers in the greater Washington, DC area, for over six months to develop an integrated solution that simplifies real-time alerting and response tracking. Emergency officials can quickly launch alerts to any number of selected users from WebEOC via the RSAN alerting platform. RSAN delivers key information through texts alerts to users’ email, pagers, Blackberry/Treos, instant messaging, cell and satellite phones. Replies are also received and tracked via the WebEOC interface to RSAN. Authorized RSAN users can also post important alert information to WebEOC message boards. This ensures important information is captured and made available to emergency personnel, first responders and other agencies and neighboring jurisdictions during a major incident in addition to being delivered to their mobile devices. “During a crisis, real-time information sharing is critical. Being able to reliably and easily communicate key information quickly and effectively is essential to keeping government leaders and first responders informed and the public safe. The partnership with ESi enables us to further simplify and enhance the emergency communication process for WebEOC and RSAN users,” said David Drescher, Chief Executive Officer of Roam Secure. “The Roam Secure - ESi partnership enables public safety professionals to leverage existing investments in two leading solutions already widely deployed in many EOCs and dispatch centers. Further, the trend of networking WebEOC systems between jurisdictions, and similarly of networking RSAN systems across regions for interoperability and information sharing, is spreading rapidly across the country. It made perfect sense to integrate our solutions together so customers can benefit from even greater levels of interoperability and information sharing.” said Drescher. “Both companies are also extremely committed to delivering high quality products and customer service, which made the partnership a natural fit for us.”"The partnership with Roam Secure offers expanded messaging capabilities and functionality to WebEOC customers and enables them to seamlessly share information between the two systems,” said Paul Butler, Principal of ESi. “We look forward to working with Roam Secure in the years to come and to demonstrating our integrated capabilities at the WebEOC user conference this April 18th and 19th in Baton Rouge.” About ESi ESi is an Augusta, Georgia based company offering web-based IT products and systems integration services to the Emergency Management and Public Safety sectors.
