The system combines Scott’s advanced sensor technology with a modular design to enable simple component replacements and field upgrades.

For example, Freedom Direct detects combustible gases and carbon dioxide using infrared (IR) or catalytic bead sensor technologies. The detector delivers information on gas concentrations directly to a Scott controller without the need for a transmitter, reducing the cost of a point of combustible gas detection by as much as 40 percent. When local display is required, Freedom Direct can be easily upgraded to Freedom 6000 for an efficient, value-oriented detection solution.
