Successful International Demonstration of Iscon1000's Infrared Security Imaging System

Boston, MA - Iscon Video Imaging, Inc. successfully demonstrated its state-of-the-art Iscon1000 infrared-based Whole Body Imager (WBI) portal that detects the presence of concealed objects before a gathering of industry experts halfway around the world in Surgut, Russia. The Iscon1000 system’s proprietary image analysis can “see” objects hidden under clothing including metal, liquid, ceramic and plastic.   Iscon1000’s whole body scanning and imaging technology provides the highest levels of detection and image quality available that is completely free of any harmful radiation and presents clear images of the hidden objects without the privacy issues associated with competitive technologies. The demonstration of Iscon1000’s threat-detection capabilities attracted wide coverage by local media, including three television station broadcasts, and drew an audience of over 50 top industry representatives from airport, borders control and security interests throughout Siberia and Russian Far East. Many commented that they have never seen any system detect non-metallic objects with such precise results, and the Russian press announced that “Surgut airport will be the safest in Russia”. Developed by a distinguished team of PhDs with strong backgrounds in research, private sector and government markets, Iscon1000 is unique among imaging scanners as it solves the two-fold problem facing cutting-edge development of WBI scans: how to detect objects hidden under clothing and provide this detection through a non-invasive system free of privacy violation concerns or potential harm from dangerous X-ray radiation. The state-of-the-art Iscon1000 sensor suite is available both as a stand-alone portal system and can also be seamlessly integrated with existing or planned security, network and IT systems.  It is currently available for purchase in the United States by both the commercial and government sectors. Iscon1000 provides protection to a wide range of facilities including:

  • Airports, train stations, Port Authorities and other mass transportation hubs
  • Government buildings including courthouses
  • Military checkpoints, bases and other facilities
  • Prisons and other detention centers and facilities
  • Stadiums, arenas and other large public venues
