Telkonet Energy Services (TES), launched in July, deployed the Telkonet iWire System to monitor the performance and activities of the substations. The system uses the existing electrical wiring inside the substation to deliver the monitoring data. The data can be transmitted remotely to any location via a high-speed Internet connection. Monitoring the data enables the substations to maintain the stability of the electric grid and efficiently manage the energy supply.
