The Teletrix SP418 Series Probe Pak Simulation Package

Teletrix Corporation, the country’s leading producer of simulated radiation meters, announces The Teletrix SP418 Series Probe Pak Simulation Package.  The Probe Pak is designed for placement between a working radiation meter (with a high voltage detector input) and a radiation probe. Through use of wireless RF remote control, The Teletrix SP418 Series Probe Pak Simulation Package is directed to produce pulses on the high voltage line of the radiation meter.  The meter interprets these pulses as if it was detecting radiation, providing a reading of apparent radiation without exposure to the trainee.

(Now your training) can be customized to cover a broad range of radiation contamination and exposure scenarios in complete safety. The manufacture, production and service of all ‘Probe Pak’s’ components originate(s) from Teletrix Corporation’s facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (USA), The Teletrix SP418 Series Probe Pak Simulation  Package is capable of simulating radiation detection in varying units of display (i.e. mR/h, CPM, Sv/h, etc.) with no meter modifications.  Visit www.teletrix.com or call 412.798.3636 for more information.

About Teletrix Corporation Teletrix Corporation manufactures realistic training solutions for all types of radiation education and training, emergency preparedness drills, weapons of mass destruction exercises and demonstrations - using only simulation.  For an industry burdened in the past with the practice of using radioactive materials in order to train personnel, Teletrix’s expanding product line produces the realism of functioning radiation instrumentation without using any radioactive materials, keeping the training environment completely safe and perfectly real.  Radiation workers, students, radiation officers, HAZMAT teams, emergency responders, firemen, police and other professionals that are trained with Teletrix simulators are prepared in safe, radiation-free environment and under seemingly real work conditions. Customers purchasing simulators include: Knoll's Atomic Power Laboratory in New York, Submarine Squadron 11 out of Point Loma in San Diego, Bechtel Bettis in South Carolina and Pittsburgh, several departments at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia, Allegheny County Department of Emergency Services in Pennsylvania, BWXT Pantex in Texas, West Wendover Fire Department in Nevada and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in New Hampshire. Teletrix Corporation is well-positioned to provide the country's emergency responders with affordable, reliable, safe and realistic simulators to train with in exercises involving detection, dispersion and clean up of radiological materials.
