Towson University Center for Homeland Security to Launch Executive Seminar Program

TOWSON, Md. – TU is launching a Homeland Security Executive Seminar Program in June 2007.  The Center for Homeland Security (CHS) and the Extended Education and Online Learning Group (EEOL) have partnered with leaders and innovative thinkers in the Homeland Security field to produce one of the few of programs in the country specifically addressing these issues. CHS and EEOL are important components of TU’s Division of Economic and Community Outreach (DECO). The Homeland Security Executive Seminar Program is designed for corporate executives, directors and decision-makers in the public and private sectors, as well as for other professionals interested in developing successful homeland security strategies for their organizations. The multidisciplinary program will consider today’s business climate through the prisms of academic and applied research, providing executives with strategies to deal with homeland security realities. The seminars, delivered in two day programs at Towson and in Washington, D.C., will be taught by homeland security experts, guest lecturers and academic faculty.  The program provides state-of-the-art delivery of preparatory materials, privileged Web site access and opportunities for custom follow-up through individual and group training.
