The Thermo Scientific TruDefender FTXi analyzer, the latest addition to a line of rugged FT-IR chemicalentification instruments, allows users to communicate with reachback support or incident command anywhere in the world directly from the device, through email or text. The embedded wireless technology minimizes communication challenges from hazard zones and allows for faster and safer incident response.

The rugged TruDefender FTXi analyzer features a self-contained anvil sampling head that is designed for improved safety, performance and sample control, as well as the same easy-to-use software used on earlier TruDefender instruments.
