University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) offers Executive Master of Sciences in Crisis and Emergency Management (ECEM) Degree Program

That’s right! The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Executive Master of Science in Crisis and Emergency Management (ECEM) degree program combines the academic knowledge of our highly-respected professors with the operational experience of our accomplished student base. Our academic cadre wants to augment your operational experience with academic principles, research, and thought, equipping you with the theoretical and practical knowledge to successfully apply important competencies when managing future crisis and emergency events. We provide leaders like you with a well-rounded, graduate learning experience, which effectively addresses the complexities of managing natural, intentional, and technical disasters.

We are proud to offer to them, the ECEM degree program.” 

Our ECEM degree program is an executive-style, eighteen-month, thirty-six credit hour curriculum, which requires the successful completion of twelve, three credit courses. The program is organized into three, six-month modules of study, with each module consisting of four courses. During each module, our students travel to the UNLV campus for two intensive, six-day, in- learning sessions where students and professors can interface with each other. Each module’s remaining weeks of instruction are accomplished via our advanced web-based application, allowing distance learning to occur wherever you are! Can you see yourself in our room? We can!
