The Thermo Scientific FirstDefender RM/RMX v4.2 software update adds more than 400 new chemicals to the instruments library, including those on the European Union’s REACH Chemical List and additional explosive precursors, steroids and narcotics.

FirstDefender RM and FirstDefender RMX analyzers are portable, rugged and easy to use in the field. They are deployed worldwide, delivering fast, accurateentification of unknown chemicals and explosives.
